Prices

Try a first one hour lesson, and see whether you like it - £10.00

Standard one hour lessons - £22.00

Prepaid block of 5 lessons - £107.50 = £21.50 each

Prepaid block of 10 lessons - £210.00 = £21.00 each

You can pay by cash, cheque or credit card.

 

And after you've passed:

Pass plus (six hours) - £150.00

Motorway (two hours) - £50.00 

 

But you really need to know what it will cost you to pass your test.  

This is a combination of price and the quality of the instruction that you will get. 

To make sure that you are getting good value, these are the questions you should ask any instructor - with my answers on the right.

 

> Do you charge if I can't make the lesson for any reason? No, provided you let me know before the start of the lesson
> Do you "piggyback", expecting me to drive the previous pupil home? No - I plan your lesson route based on your training programme, not on where the next pupil lives
> Are you fully qualified? Yes - look for the green licence in my windscreen
> Do you keep your knowledge up to date? Yes, through my involvement in the Driving Instructors Association and the Institute of Advanced Motorists
> Are you prepared to let me talk to some of your existing and past pupils? Yes
